Nov 2025

As most, if not all, of you might know, on the Thursday before the end of Trimester 1, or on November 6th, was the food truck celebration for the end of the trimester. 7th grade was not there because of Yosemite; only 6th and 8th. Though the lines were extremely long (they would've been longer if 7th graders were here, but luckily they weren’t), the food and drinks were amazing. There was boba, snow cones, bubble waffles, and churros. The churros had 5 flavors: Original, caramel, strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla. The prices were $3 dollars per churro. The boba could be caffeinated for non-caffeinated and they could come in a variety of flavors. For instance, the pineapple with boba was a pineapple juice with a hint of citrus. The pearls included in the drinks added a fun element to the experience. The snow cones also had a variety of flavors. The boba was $6 and snow cones were $7. The toppings were an extra 50 cents. The bubble waffles had some savory options and there were sweet options too, like waffles with ice cream on top, with a variety of ice cream flavors, too. They also served lemonade for $7.

The prices for the waffles ranged up to $17. The food was really good, but the prices were outrageously high, especially for the bubble waffles. But it was kind of worth it for some people. To share my experience, I was in the back of the line for churros, and I waited up to about 45 minutes to get just two churros. It took really long for some people to get items, and some people didn't get anything at all. Overall, the food truck celebration was a delicious and happy experience that mostly everyone enjoyed as the trimester came to a close.
