On the 25th of September, the first spirit rally of the 2025 school year took place at SPB! The spirit rally was an event for the entire school that displayed and boosted everyone's spirit. All students were encouraged to wear their grade color spirit shirt. The shirt for 6th grade is yellow, while 7th grade is represented by orange, 8th grade by red, 9th grade by black, 10th grade by blue, 11th grade by green, and finally, 12th grade by purple. It also had a few games, with kids from all age groups participating. Though most students were upset that the spirit rally took over their break or tutorial, the overall excitement and activities definitely made up for it. irst, we kicked it off with a balloon-popping survival game where students from each grade tied balloons to their ankles and attempted to annihilate their opponents while keeping their own balloon safe.

Also, there was a Hungry Hippos game which also consisted of three players, each holding their own important job. Ultimately, the winner of the game was determined by whichever team secured the most balls. Additionally, some of our amazing teachers and 12th-grade students surprised the audience by collectively dancing to NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye.” To wrap everything up, the Stratford mascot asked _,a twelfth grader, to the HOCO. All of these activities were undoubtedly enjoyable and brought laughter to everyone. The Spirit Rally was definitely one of the most fun and loudest events that everyone appreciated. As a sixth-grader it was one of the first things that caught my eye. The rally included many events and activities, our amazing school mascot, and even Spider-Man was there. Regrettably, the rally was short-lived. But if it had extended even a little bit longer, it would’ve been so much more fun, even possibly becoming the most popular event ever.
