Stratford has recently hosted their first pep rally at the gym, September 4th, 2024. Essentially, this is a gathering of all the students to show some spirit and hype up some of the school’s spring season sports players. In this rally we mostly got introduced to how we would host these and what we would do, such as musical chairs.

A forewarning for the next pep rally is to wear ear protection if you can because things can become extremely noisy really quickly with all of the excited people there. Additionally, a mask might help because it will be extremely crowded and you might get sick. I’d say that the most exciting part was musical chairs, if not one of the loudest. Some students raised their hands to participate, and then the game began. Another event was when some of the sports players did a cool run around the gym and we got to see a lot of talented athletes.

Overall, it was pretty fun, however it was quite loud and crowded, so bring both ear protection and a mask if possible.
