Homecoming: A Starry Night

Aditi Jain - Oct. 2024

On October 18th, high school students attended their first dance of the year at SPB, Homecoming! This year, the theme was Starry Night, and it was certainly a night to remember. For the very first time, Stratford students were allowed to bring people from other schools, celebrating our ever-expanding school community. With the courtesy of Ms. Shanley, attendees were also able to take Polaroid pictures with their friends, and the photo booth was complete with a ring light and balloon arch. There was also a food truck serving delicious Mexican food outside. The gym was transformed into a dance floor with lights and balloons. Towards the end of the night, the Homecoming Queen, Meera Mishra, and King, Neil Srivatsa, were announced. The night ended with everyone dancing to the “Macarena” and “Low,” signifying the end of a very memorable Friday night! A big shoutout to the student council team for a great homecoming and a plethora of events to come!
