The middle school volleyball season is officially over, and it was an unforgettable one. Across all three teams—A, B, and C—players showed growth and improvement. This could not only be seen in their games but also in their adaptability when it came to overcoming challenges. The commitment of the coaching staff, whose direction enabled each team to realize its greatest potential, contributed significantly to this advancement.

This year's A-team had an incredible season, ending with just one loss and second place in the league. The team’s season began on September 18 with a victory against Hillbrook. This game was their first win and set the tone for the rest of the season. Over the course of the fall season, the team played over ten games, with their only defeat coming in a tight game against Merryhill, the first-place winners of the league.

The B-team completed a competitive season of nine games, showing their improvement from the start of the season to the finish. The B-team won all of its games this season, demonstrating teamwork and dedication throughout the season. The team improved a lot over the course of the season; at first, the team often sent the ball over on second touch, but as the season progressed, they were able to improve and get a lot more hits in.

The C-team played a total of ten games. For many athletes, this was their first time competing on a school team, and their growth throughout the season was clear. The team won five of their ten games, with some of their games ending with very close scores. The team improved not only their serving and passing skills, but also their communication and understanding of the game.

Overall, this year's middle school volleyball season was one to remember. Win or lose, Stratford should be proud to have these athletes representing the school on the court.
