Middle School Flag Football

With a short practice schedule, Flag Football took to the field for their first game against Merryhill. With a new team and new addition to the coaching staff, there were plenty of positive notes. Shubhi Agrawal, an instrumental part of the defense, commanded the team while being involved in every defensive stop. On the offensive side of the ball, Vihaan Apte marched down the field leading his team towards the end zone, passing to players left and right. Valley Christian was the last game played in September; Blackford is going to look forward to seeing them on a yearly basis thanks to the amazing insight from Coach Peters, who always makes each games memorable.

Volleyball

With volleyball being a multi-team sport at Blackford, each team is showing great improvements and making great strides. A-Team has shown that they belong in every match, thanks to Coach Travis pushing each player to be their absolute best. B-Team is being led by 7th grader Anna Wang, already bolstering their defense and playing an even overall game against Basis Silicon Valley. C-Team has shown that they can compete with any other school.
