The Learning Commons is used for multiple purposes by students of Stratford
Schools. In the beginning of the year, the learning commons was a place where
students could use their Chromebooks to do homework throughout the day. Now,
this is a place where we can borrow books and do homework without any worry of
being disturbed.
Did you know that there is a library at the Learning Commons? It’s just like a regular
library, but in our school! You are able to read and borrow books. To borrow books,
just write your name, book name, and date on a clipboard near the entrance closer to
the quad. You should be able to return a borrowed book within a few weeks. Be sure
to return it within a few weeks so others can enjoy it! Another reminder, don’t lose
the book as it is school property.
The Learning Commons is also a place where you
can study and complete homework. It is a quiet space to get in some work or quietly
communicate with others.
The Learning Commons is even a meeting place for middle school teachers every
Monday morning! Enthusiasts of books, studying, and quiet spaces, come to the
Learning Commons!
