The Speech and Debate team participated in competitions after winter break. At NOF Palm, for LD, Aditi Rao and Ayush Gupta got silver, with Anirudh Panth receiving gold. In NOF Cherry, Ayaan Mathur, Palaksi Pagare, and Siddarth Pothula got silver in LD, with Ayush Gupta, Jay Beri, and Ishaan Jain getting gold. For PF, Ashley Lin + Anika Ketha got silver, and Ella Fu + Fiona Dai got gold. For the Stanford Invitational, Apollo Grimes got into the semifinals for Congress, Jay Beri got 2nd place overall for LD (having a 3rd place speaker award) and Ayush got into the quarterfinals, and Anaia Fernandes got 7th place for Novice Informative. Additionally Anuska Peshwe, competing for Athens, got 2nd place in Impromptu. Congratulations to all of the participants of the tournaments for 2025!
